| Abstract/Contents: | "The preparation, or lack thereof, will have an effect on the quality of the product when Spring arrives in 1991." The time in which the turf is fertilized is very important and Dr. Paul Rieke has done many studies to prove it. The water lines should be winterized. Herbicide application helps clean up the hard to control weeds and watering by hand around trees, buildings and fences in October will lessen some of the duties for the spring. A good check of inventory and taking pictures for future references will also help many things easier for the next transition. |
