| Abstract/Contents: | In an effort to cut costs, some building projects have called for the elimination of sand bunkers. Regardless of the costs, the author believes that sand is an integral part of the game and no golf course will ever achieve its full potential without hazards of this type. A list of the functions of bunkers and the caring for them is described. |
