Abstract/Contents: | Focuses on the identification, biology, prevention, and control of voles. Explains that voles "make small holes about 1 inch across and underground tunnels to get to tubers and bulbs." States that general yard sanitation may decrease the number of vole appearances, and suggests that "vole damage to tree bark is best prevented by encircling the tree with a light colored tree guard." Mentions the use of toxic baits to further control voles. |
