Abstract/Contents:Eisenhower Golf Course is a municipal course which is run by Anne Arundel County, Maryland, with 18 holes spread over 208 acres. Due to a limited budget the full-time staff is restricted to three people. Aerating is a time consuming process so after they purchased the Toro aerator they also purchased a core harvestor and constructed an adaptor. Some reason why they did this include: 1. Manhour labor saving 2. Convenience 3. Decrease in operator fatigue. 4. Provides vehicle to carry necessary tools. 5. Enables one person to operate independently in areating and clean-up at specific problem areas as well as maintenance of machine.
