Abstract/Contents: | People are currently putting forth an effort to comply with laws which involve gasoline storage, lubricants, fertilizer storage, pesticide storage and disposal, safety training, right-to-know, recordkeeping, MSDS files and a look to the future with emphasis on groundwater contamination. A person must be doing what they can to comply with the nature of the law. Keeping good records, training employees well and documenting the training will help. MSDS information should be available for the employees and for the fire department. Gasoline inventory records should be kept on a daily basis and one should also dispose of containers. In conclusion, use all the practices that are required and use good judgment in the areas that aren't clear. |
