Abstract/Contents:Letter to the editor from the uncle of a 10-year-old student who a wrote a speech for a debate regarding the proposed construction of a golf course in San Ynez Valley. The letter encloses the debate speech that opposes the proposed golf course on the basis that it will damage the environment, tear down trees, cause a loss of natural habitat, add to pollution, and cause an increase in drunk drivers. The uncle writes that he feels, "This child was coached by his adult leaders to present this point of view." He goes on to say that, "This confirms my opinion that there are those in the environmental movement who will stop at nothing to impose their views on the rest of us."
Note:"This is a letter to the editor."
