Abstract/Contents: | Complete construction was the only solution to problems from a 1970 field. Sand slit drainage got the water off fast and after building the infield and outfield it was ready to be open in the spring. The baseball field was built to be 95% maintenance free and the reason for this is because the work schedule of the groundskeepers allows them only about two hours to get the field ready for a game. The baseball field at Harper College is consistent, day in and day out. |
