Abstract/Contents:Discusses winter preparations for snow mold fungicide application in 2011 following a lift on the nation-wide PCNB (quintozene) stop sale order in August of the same year. Includes and details findings from four graphs compiled from University of Wisconsin snow mold trials depicting the correlation between a number a fungicides and disease severity of microdochium patch and Typhula blight. Notes that "PCNB is a popular product not because it completely controls snow mold; it doesn't." Mentions that though it is potentially the most affordable product, a number of suitable alternatives are available for use.
