Abstract/Contents: | Leasing in a very big industry and it is growing rapidly. Many companies control the Alternative Minimum Tax through leasing programs. Cashflow is the biggest reason companies lease, with capital conversion and having the equipment immune from inflation are the others. Leasing helps the company avoid long-term debt since it is 100% financing. Overall, leasing provides a company with improved asset use and increased financial flexibilty. |
