| Abstract/Contents: | When TurfScape adopted a alcohol/substance abuse program, within six weeks one-third of the work force had been fired or had left. The 8 "users" were replaced by 8 better, dependable employees who wanted to work in a drug-free environment. There were great reductions in turnover, tardiness, absenteeism, and fewer accidents, thefts and equipment abuse occurred. |
