Explains that the SGL system is designed to grow grass under any condition by using assimilation lighting, and by controlling growth factors such as temperature, carbon dioxide, water, air, and nourishment. Describes Johnson's experimental field, with the lighting technologies yielding three times the amount of clippings as the control field after a two-month trial period. Recommends the lighting system to potentially offset the negative impacts shaded stadiums have on growth. |
