| Abstract/Contents: | 1986 update of test to evaluate 9 bermudagrass cultivars (Guymon, Vamont, RS-1(Quicksand), Midiron, U-3, London(Sel.), NK 78098, Tufcut, and Common) established at a Kentucky location in various years from 1976 to 1984. A table provides establishment date, % greenup on 4/30, % coverage on 6/19, and texture. Vamont and RS-1 (Quicksand) had best performance with medium texture and 80 and 70% greenup and 98 and 95% coverage, respectively. Common had worst performance with 0% greenup, 5% coverage, and coarse texture. |
