| Abstract/Contents: | Provides suggestions for a "to-do" list for superintendents during the winter season. Explains that besides the minimal maintenance duties performed during the winter, superintendents have an opportunity to complete tasks they do not have time for during the busy summer season. Recommends getting in shape, applying for the Audubon Certification, and spending time with family and friends. Suggests using the winter months to catch up on the latest research, happenings, and products in the industry by attending the Wisconsin Turfgrass Association Expo or the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America Education Conference and Golf Industry Show. |
