| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a registration statement from the Australian government on the 'Grand Prix' couch grass (Iynodon dactylon) and compares it to other cultivars. Mentions that 'Grand Prix' shows a reduction in thatch accumulation when compared to other cultivars. Reports that "individual seedlings, a total of 150 in number, were planted into 150 mm pots and these plants observed during 1998 and 1999. Concludes that most similar varieties of common knowledge identified were: C1, Riley's Evergreen, Winter Gem, Hatfield, and Wintergreen. |
