Abstract/Contents:Presents a study conducted by the Australian Government on TF01 buffalo grass. Presents a registration statement for TF01, listing the title holder as Transvaal Park Pty Ltd. Details the origin and breeding of the study, stating that "TF01 was selected by the breeder, John Powell, as an isolated and distinctive plant of buffalo grass (Stenotaphrum secundatum) growing among kikuyu grass on the banks of the Bellinger River along its tidal reaches where it was occasionally inundated by brackish water during king tides." Concludes that the most similar varieties that were identified include: B12, Kings Pride, Marine, Matilda, Ned Kelly, Shademaster, Sir Walter, and ST-26.
