| Abstract/Contents: | Highlights Matthew Plunkett's concerns with a Nevada Environmental Protection Agency fact sheet online that details 150 million square feet of turfgrass removed from home lawns, with people given rebates for its removal. Suggests that the opposite is true in Victoria, Australia where rebates were given to people who established warm season grasses, "before reverting back to water restrictions, or no watering after 28 days." Mentions that outside media can play a large role in how the public view the turfgrass industry. |
