Details the conditions, trial design, and measurements used stating that "single seedlings were raised in a glasshouse and transplanted into the field as spaced plants after a period of hardening off." Reports that " 'Bolton was selected from within a spaced plant nursery based on an ecotype collection made in 1992 from the perennial ryegrass Victorian ecotype.'"
