| Abstract/Contents: | 1983 update of test to evaluate 8 bermudagrass cultivars (Midiron; Guymon X 109786; NK 78098; U-3; Tufcoat; Common; Quicksand (Rice); Vamont) established in 1976, 1978, or 1982. A table provides establishment date, texture, and % green bermudagrass cover on 5/6, 5/17, and 6/20. Midiron had fastest and greatest spring green-up with medium texture while NK 78098 had slowest and least spring green-up with coarse texture. Spring dead spot was not a serious problem in 1983. |
