| Abstract/Contents: | 1982 study to evaluate relationship of incidence of dollar spot in tall fescue to seeding rate. Rebel tall fescue was seeded at 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 20 lb/1000 sq. ft. in randomized plots replicated 4 times. Rating for dollar spot disease incidence was done on June 17 by counting the number of dollar spot infection centers (averaging 4-8" diameter, each) per plot. Results are included in a table. Tall fescue plots having higher seeding rates had greater dollar spot disease than less dense spots. |
