Discusses the difference between a turfgrass disease and a turfgrass infection. Lists potential steps to take during a disease diagnosis. Includes steps on "preparing a sample for laboratory diagnosis." Advises not to send any additional pictures or information with the sample, emphasizing that you want a "definitive diagnosis of what is present...including this additional information biases the diagnosis and leads to guessing."
