Abstract/Contents: | "Established in September, 1981, this test includes seven seeding rates of Rebel ranging from 1 to 20 lbs seed/1000 sq. ft. The establishment rate was much better at the higher seeding rates. For example, after one month there was a 10% cover at the 1 lb rate and 91% cover at the 20 lb rate. Because of a lack of inital cover, chickweed and henbit became very competitive at the lower seeding rates. Turf quality and disease ratings will be made in 1982." |
