Abstract/Contents: | "The commission are interested in the results of research where these assist them in improving their advice to managers of countryside recreation areas. Under the 1968 Countryside Act the Commision are empowered, through experiment and grant-aid, to assist in the provision or improvement of opportunities for the enjoyment of the countryside by the public." Main areas of concern are divided into: 1. Grasslands which are intesively used by the public and 2. Grassland where use is more extensive. These areas are discussed in detail. |
