| Abstract/Contents: | Announces the financing of national research programs on turfgrass in Italy, granted jointly by the Ministry of Agricultural Policy and the National Research Council. Details each of the three subprograms, which include establishment technology and maintenance techniques of intensively used turfgrass, plant breeding physiology and variety evaluation, and establishment technologies and maintenance techniques for low intensity management turfgrass. Concludes by mentioning a coordinated project by the Italian National Research Council entitled, "Study of the agronomic and biophysiologic response to mowing of turfgrass species." |
