Abstract/Contents:"This area was originally space planted with approximately 1000 Kentucky bluegrass plants. Two inch potted plants were planted at 18" intervals, and after 15 months a good sod developed. The most noticeable type difference of the Kentucky bluegrasses was that certain plants exhibited poor tolerance to low available iron. This area is kept for herbicide testing and at this station some 1979 product testing plots can be observed."
