| Abstract/Contents: | "On 6/28/79 22 tall fescues were seeded at this station. These tall fescue varieties are representatives of those planted in the Southern Turf Group tall fescue field evaluation trials. A starter fertilizer of 10 lbs. of 18-46-0 per 1000 sq. ft. was applied prior to seeding. These plots should provide valuable observational data, since tall fescue will likely become a very important turfgrass in the Region." |
