Abstract/Contents: | "The demethylation inhibitors (DMIs) are a relatively new group of fungicides. Banner fungicide has recently been registered for the control of Dollar spot disease in turf and several other DMI fungicides are being developed for the turf market in Canada. Recently, there have been several reports of Sclerotinia homoeocarpa, (the causal agent of Dollar spot disease) populations that have developed resistance to DMI fungicides at golf courses in the United States. The purpose of this study is to examine the risk of DMI fungicide resistance by S. homoeocarpa under various chemical Dollar spot management strategies over a period of two years." |
