Abstract/Contents: | Ming height, mofrequency, direction, quality, and clippings are discussed. "...mowing at a high height of cut, infrequent mowing yet removing no more than 40% of the foliage at one time, alternating mower patterns, using light mowers and recycling clippings will produce a more healthy turf, reduce pesticide and fertilizer use and limit the need for transporting clippings to landfills." |
