Abstract/Contents: | Postemergence weed control is only one part of a total turf management program. If weed control is to be successful, the weed must be identified and the proper herbicide selected and applied. Control of broadleaf weeds, crabgrasses and other annual weedy grasses, yellow nutsedge, and annual bluegrass is discussed. Understanding factors influencing herbicide performance is helpful to explain results obtained and to maximize weed control. |
