Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted to evaluate Sumagic's ability to reduce growth of Pyracantha coccinea "Lalandei," Photinia x fraseri, and Ilex cornuta "Burfodii Nana." Details the methods and materials used in the study, stating that the plants were transplanted into one gallon containers, fertilized, and then treated with Sumagic. Reports that "trends indicate the Sumagic does reduce plant height and width in all three species of plants." Concludes that "initial results indicate that Sumagic treatments reduce stem dry weight in all three species, with soil drench applications showing a greater effect than foliar applications." |
