| Abstract/Contents: | Describes the author's personal experience of having both a child and being a golf course superintendent. Provides advice on how to incorporate family and job. Advises golf course superintendents to bring their kids to work and follow these recommendations listed, including deciding where the child is allowed in the pro-shop, establishing quiet rules in the club house, and describing proper golf etiquette while on the golf course. Concludes that "although there are a lot of days I pull my hair out, I can't imagine life without my little assistant." |
