Abstract/Contents:Provides information on the annual bluegrass weevil (Listronotus maculicollis), potentially one of the most troublesome pests to golf courses in the Northeastern United States. Details areas of damage across the United States, breeding patterns, and ways to monitor the insect. Concludes that "[the annual bluegrass weevil] is currently not known to be in Wisconsin! But, because of the destructive nature of this important turfgrass pest, it is certainly an insect that we must have awareness and an understanding of its biology...and management."
