Abstract/Contents: | "Soil solarization is a nonchemical pest mangagement practice that can be used, under some circumstances, as an alternative to chemical fumigation for control of numerous weeds and soil pathogens. The efficacy of solarization is dependent on both biotic and abiotic factors. The uses and limitations of solarization for small fruit production will be discussed. Strategies for future research will be suggested." |
