Congratulates Hornungs Golf Products of Fond du Lac for celebrating their 75th year in business, as well as Renee Rioux a doctoral student at the University of Wisconsin Madison for being awarded the 2011 Watson Fellowship. Continues to congratulate Dr. Frank Rossi for being awarded the Turf and Ornamental Communicators Association Environmental Communicator of the Year Award, and Adam Wepfer for being selected for the United States Golf Association Green Section Internship Program. Concludes that "we do need to keep in mind budgets cannot be based on the best of years and there is plenty of opportunity for rain outs, extreme heat, and disease pressure in the coming summer months." |
