Abstract/Contents: | Provides the opinion of Derf Soller, a United States Golf Association (USGA) staff member, on how to better golf. States that having fun while playing golf is potentially the main reason the majority of people visit golf courses. Suggests that all golfers and course managers should "understand and appreciate the architect's original design and intent of the golf course," that all golfers need to "enhance their enjoyment of playing the game," and that golfers and course officials need to "understand and better tolerate a maintenance practice that is critical to the health of turfgrass." |
