Abstract/Contents: | Overviews necrotic ring spot which is "caused by the fungus Leptosphaeria korrae, which attacks the roots of the turfgrass plant." Discusses frog-eye symptom, which is when "severely infected plants turn straw-colored and die in a characteristic circular ring, and over time, weeds or weedy grasses grow in the center." Adds that slow release fertilizers and spoon feeding on shorter intervals are effective ways in "producing uniform nutrient availability for the plants." |
