| Abstract/Contents: | "Longidorus breviannulatus was associated with declining patches of Agrostis palustris, bentgrass, in August 1976. The highest nematode numbers (200-1400 per liter) were associated with declining bentgrass, and soil with more than 70% sand; however, low numbers (5-20 per liter) were present in unaffected areas of the greens. This constitutes the first report of L. breviannulatus as a potential bentgrass pathogen." |
