Abstract/Contents:Briefly overviews the history of the Pasatiempo Country club, stating that in the late 1920s, Miss Marian Hollins, winner of the 1921 Women's Championship began searching for a suitable location for the championship golf course she wanted to build. Describes the land, noting that it was located in "the rolling foot hills north of Santa Cruz, overlooking the sunny side of Monterey Bay." Details the features of the country club and golf course, mentioning that it has a "championship golf course; well equipped stables, polo field, mile upon mile of trails, tennis and badminton courts, a swimming pool, and only minutes away, a private beach." Reports that "though many of the facilities have been closed during the years, the golf remains as a championship course."
