Briefly discusses the past golf season, and highlights challenges superintendents had to overcome in regards to maintenance because of the dry summer weather. Describes meetings held to facilitate cooperation between various associations in the Wisconsin turf industry. Mentions that Dr. Jim Kerns, professor of turfgrass pathology, will be leaving the University of Wisconsin, Madison to take a position at North Carolina State in order to be closer to family. |
