| Abstract/Contents: | Discusses some of the things which make the author, and golf course superintendents in general, aggravated while on the job. Problems with finding an acceptable time to close the course for aerification so as not to interfere with any tournaments, outings, ladies' days or any other personal problems are discussed. Careless use of golf carts by members causing damage to the course and the carts themselves is mentioned. And finally, fall help shortages after the summer help has gone and there is still much work to be done before winter, but no one wanting to do it, is talked about. Looking back at the past season, many of incidents did not seem as bad now as they had at the time, and in fact some of them were quite funny. |
