| Abstract/Contents: | President Jeffrey Holmes encourages those interested in attending a mechanic's certification program to sign up for the fall term of classes which begin October, 1991. The Certified Turfgrass Landscape Equipment Technology Program is offered through Michigan State University and runs for four terms. Topics covered include Engine Technology, Professional Development, Computers, Hydraulics, Welding, Metal Fabricating, etc. A term would run from October to December with the next term beginning in January and ending in March. The next term of classes would not be until Fall. The class is held one day per week and runs from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The program is currently being offered in Sparta, MI with favorable comments from the participants. The program can be brought to Northern Michigan for the fall of 1991, but at least 18 participants are needed.
