Abstract/Contents: | Discusses Jim Arthur's views about the comparisons golfers make against his greenkeeping without considering the facts. Mentions some of the traditional techniques that he uses, such as eliminating phosphate from fertilizer mixtures, using SISIS to aerate soil, and using Verti-Drain which also helps to aerate soil. Provides refutes to some of the "attacks" which have made against his management recommendations. Refutes articles by Mr. Jones concerning aeration, elimination of phosphates from fertilizer, aeration machinery, earthworm control, and irrigation. |
