| Abstract/Contents: | Details the annual sustainability reports that big business and global markets are embracing to "understand resources, grow market shares and maintain consumer confidence in an increasingly skeptical world." Suggests the golf industry is no different from these businesses and markets and that it should examine approaches such as Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) factors. Provides information on accounting and reporting, suggesting "you can make more informed decisions and exploit sustainability as an opportunity." Explains Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) which are examples used to measure ESG. Recommends transparency of management as communication with public. Concludes with a circular graph of sustainable business practices and three questions to help put it all into perspective. |
