Abstract/Contents:Presents a study conducted to investigate "cutting height and nitrogen fertility requirements of Paspalum vaginatum." Details the methods and materials used in the study, stating that the turfgrass was mown twice weekly with monthly nitrogen fertilizer applications, and that "visual turfgrass quality was assessed biweekly by two scientists." Reports that "lower cut turfs exhibited better fall low temperature color retention." Concludes that the findings "strongly suggest that cutting height, and not nitrogen fertility level, is the controlling factor in maintaining a quality Adalayd seashore paspalum turf."
