Abstract/Contents: | Overviews strategies and methods that potentially control weeds that appear in the spring. Notes that the first step to weed control is "to identify the weeds present." Profiles several weeds that are found in coastal areas and how they can be eradicated. Suggests that "in circumstances where the weeds present in turf include deep-rooted or difficult to control weeds such as thistle, speedwell or yellow trefoils then it may be prudent to treat the area with a tank-mix to extend the capabilities of a general purpose product." Provides guidelines "to stay legal when tank-mixing." |
