Abstract/Contents: | Highlights concerns stemming from carbon emissions, primarily from mowing. Explains that mowing less would decrease carbon output, but it would require a shift to a species of grass that required less mowing. States that finding an alternative fuel source for mowers would potentially be a more environmentally friendly option. Discusses the differences between using gasoline as opposed to diesel fuel, and discusses the potential benefits that could be obtained by using biodiesel fuel or incorporating electronic fuel-injection technology. |
