| Abstract/Contents: | Grass strips beside pavements were sown with a mixture of Festuca ovina, F. rubra spp. arenaria, Phleum nodosum and Poa pratensis or the same mixture of grasses with Achillea millefolium. Four years later the sown species still predominated and the only invasive species was A. millefolium in the strips which had been planted with grasses only. Fouling and mechanical damage by dogs were problems. |
