| Abstract/Contents: | "Field trials with isoxaben demonstrated that fall applications of isoxaben at 0.5 to 1 lb/a to warm season turf provided effective control of lawn burweed (Soliva pterosperma), short buttercup (Ranunculus parviflorus), common chickweed (Stellaria media), hop clover (Trifolium agrarium), curly dock (Rumex crispus), Carolina geranium (Geranium carolinianum), henbit (Lamium amplexicaule), parsley piert (Alchemilla arvensis), and buckhorn plantain (Plantago lanceolata). Tank-mixed combinations of isoxaben + oryzalin and isoxaben + pendimethalin at 0.5 + 1.5 to 1 + 3 lb/a provided effective control of annual bluegrass (Poa annua). Common and Tifton 419 bermudagrass (Cynodon dactylon) and bahiagrass (Pasplum notatum) were tolerant to isoxaben at herbicidally efficacious rates." |
