| Abstract/Contents: | The Novaplant system for renovating turf, particularly sports turf, is described. The turf is mechanically aerated to 5 - 8 cm, sand is spread, and the area is then sown with seed using the same machine as for aerating but making holes only 3 - 4 cm deep. Suggestions for suitable seed mixtures, and specifications of the machine used for aerating and sowing are given. |
