| Abstract/Contents: | "A 'Tifgreen' bermudagrass putting green was overseeded with 10 overseed entries which included ryegrass blends, Poa trivialis, bentgrasses, and mixtures of the above. All entries were evaluated for turfgrass color, quality, uniformity, ball speed and transition and significant differences occured for all response variables on each and every rating date. No single entry performed best for all turf response variables, however seasonal trends were observed for performance, up to and including spring transition on June 15, 1993." |
