Abstract/Contents: | "On all dates of evaluation, there was significant treatment effects for seeded entries for turfgrass color, quality, texture and uniformity. Percent cover was significant among seeded entries at December 12, at December 27, but not on or often February 12. Overseed germplasm includes a wide base of materials which differ in genetic color, quality, and overall turfgrass performance in desert conditions. Much of the available material exhibits moderate to good turf performance during the late spring, when high ambient air and surface soil temperatures are realized. Quality shifts occurred among the top performers between early and late spring performance. Experimental materials lie within the full range of commercially, available material." |
